We are releasing an informative video, primarily aimed at parents, regarding independent educational evaluations (IEE) in the special education process. IEEs are a tool provided for by federal law that allow parents to pursue assessments of a child that are performed by assessors independent of the school system, if parents believe that the assessments performed by a school are inappropriate or problematic.
