The Sacramento Autistic Spectrum and Special Needs Alliance is excited to be the official local charity partner of the Foam Glow 5K happening on April 29th at Raley Field!
Foam Glow™ 5k is a unique experience focused less on speed and more on Glow in the dark fun with friends and family. Glowing runners come from all different ages, shapes, sizes, and speeds; but everyone who registers to glow has the time of their life. Whether you are a long term runner or a walk around the park stroller, the three miles of the Foam Glow™ course will have you shining bright and waiting for the next run.
Along the running path you will find Foam Glow™ Zone's, which are associated with a designated color: orange, pink, or blue. As the runners/walkers reach the Foam Glow™ Zones, They they will run through different color foam that Glows in the Dark under our high intensity black lights. All products are 100% natural and non-toxic. At the end of the race there will be a Foam Glow 5K™ after party filled with Music pumping from the stage, Foam Glow™ and tons of black lights!
Want to volunteer for SASSNA at this event?
SASSNA needs 15 to 20 volunteers to help out the Foam Glow 5K staff in operating the event. The Foam Glow 5K folks will be donating some money to SASSNA (we are a 501c3 nonprofit organization) for each volunteer that we provide at the event. So, volunteers will have fun and do good at the same time! Volunteers must work the entire event from 4:00PM to 11:00PM.
